What was your favorite family vacation?
We took a trip to California back in 2009 that was a blast. We started in San Francisco where we walked the city up and down, checked out the redwood forests of Mir Woods, road little yellow cars around on a tour, and then drove the coast down to LA. Along the way we say Pebble Beach, Hollywood and many of the great beaches.
What is your favorite thing about your career?
I have really enjoyed the commercial real estate industry – getting to help businesses grow and create office environments to help their people thrive. I love helping others and getting out of the office and being involved which my career allows me to do.
What’s the tallest building you’ve been to the top in?
CN Tower in Toronoto (1,815′), Canada and John Hancock Center in Chicago (1,499′).
What did you want to be when you were a kid?
I wanted to be a pilot; to fly around and see the world.
What do you do to keep fit?
I enjoy getting outside on a run or bike ride, but also starting the day at the gym before work to wake up!
What is special about the place you grew up?
Powder Springs is a great suburb in Northwest Atlanta that has such incredible people/ culture and has maintained a good amount of green space to get outside. Kennesaw Mountain Park is just a few minutes away, and my parents live near the Lost Mountain trails tucked away by creeks and ponds. My high school was an old college campus, built of beautiful brick buildings and community focused.
What is your favorite place you have traveled?
My sister, Stephanie, and I went on an epic trip to Europe where we started in Edinburgh, Scotland and then went to London, Brussels, Antwerp, Bruges and Amsterdam. Bruges was a hidden medieval gem with a beautiful town square, water ways/ canals, good food (mussels, Belgium pearl liege waffles, fries and more) and relaxing energy.
What would be your ideal way to spend the weekend?
Every weekend is different, but my favorite weekend includes a local festival, trying a new place for brunch and family time (lunch after church is a highlight).
